How did I get so lucky...

Sometimes life feels surreal. How did I get so lucky to have all the things I have in my life! I am one of the lucky ones that knows exactly what I was meant to do with my life and I am doing it!!! It feels great to know my "purpose" and although I know I am following the intended path, I also know that there is so much more to come!!! Thank you Lord for this beautiful day that you have made...lead me...guide...me and use me as your tool!!! Show me what you have in store for me next!!! The people you have put in my path and in my life are awesome!!! I feel so blessed!!!

Gonna try my hand at cardmaking...

I have spent a lot of time looking at cards in my life...at gift shops and Hallmark Stores...and...I have spent alot of time in my local Michaels and Hobby Lobby BUYING tons of card marking and scrapbooking supplies... I have scrapbooked a good bit (not enough to justify all the stuff I have bought)...but I have yet to make my first homemade card...so as of today...I am going to start making cards...so I need lots of help...and I am going to start booking again and use some of those tons of supplies...sooooooo...here we go...

Gratitude!!!

I do some of my best thinking and problem solving when I travel. In the first place, it is very enjoyable to me. Second of all, what else are you going to do when you are in a car by yourself on a four hour drive. Today is very good example. I drove from Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Tupelo, Mississippi for a 3 day work related conference. I left home in warm sunshine and arrived in cloudy cold. It was a gorgeous day!!! The drive was uneventful with wonderful radio stations all along the way to which I am sure some of the people who passed me could actually hear me singing to the top of my lungs!!! Gratitude was what I was feeling all along the way, for the beautiful day, for my wonderful life and for all the future has in store. I have arrived and have checked into my hotel room. The accomodations are very nice and comfortable and I am going to relax and watch the HD flatscreen TV (I dont have one of those yet) for the evening. The conference begins in the morning. I am looking forward to it...
